National Hazing Prevention Week - September 23-27

Theta Nu Xi recognizes National Hazing Prevention Week, September 23-27, 2024

Organized by Hazing Prevention Network, National Hazing Prevention Week (NHPW) is a time when communities, institutions, organizations, and individuals make a concerted effort to raise awareness and increase education about hazing.  The 2024 theme is “Be the leader. Prevent hazing.” with a hazing prevention focus to educate, advocate, promote and fundraise.  

We encourage all chapters and kaleidoscopes to participate in hazing prevention events and initiatives on their campus and in the community in unity with other Greek-lettered organizations. 

In alignment with the 2024 theme, the National Organization will launch a Hazing Prevention and Risk Management Training for all members on September 25th on ONE Hub.  This training aligns with our Chapter Management Program standards and will be required for all members seeking to participate in membership intake.  The National Board has worked hard with dedicated members and our insurance company to design training that is relevant to our members and intake processes.  

We will collect feedback at the end of every completed training to improve the course.
